Sports at the College
Team and individual activities
Being part of the Volta College means sharing moments of life together, and among these, sports play a crucial role.
The Volta College has a well-equipped gym and outdoor sports fields (5-a-side soccer, basketball) where alumni can train freely.
In addition, every year all colleges compete in the “Trofeo dei Collegi” tournament, organized in collaboration with the CUS (University Sports Center) of the University of Pavia, competing in different sports (athletics, basketball, volleyball, soccer, beach volleyball, dragonboat) and sharing unique experiences. For each specialty, the college routinely presents two teams (one male and one female).

Intercollegiate Treasure Hunt
The Intercollegiate Treasure Hunt of the city of Pavia is a goliardic-sporting event involving all of the city’s colleges.
Teams must compete by tackling riddles and trials arranged in the various colleges of Pavia.
Each year an Organizing Committee is composed, consisting of two members from each college, and three for the “organizing” college (i.e., the one that won the previous edition). The winning College, in addition to organizing the event the following year, also has the burden of organizing a party in which all participants can take part.
